Ingredients
- 1 block of tempeh
- 1 tbsp of oil
- 3 tbsp of tamari or soy sauce
- 2.5 tbsp of maple syrup
- 1.5 tsp of smoked paprika
- .5 tsp of black pepper
- 1 dash of cayenne
- 1 dash of sea salt
Steps
Marinading the tempeh
Add the wet ingredients and the smoked parika to a container and stir to combine. Slice the tempeh into thin strips and tos in the marinade before leaving in the fridge for at least two hours.
Baking the tempeh
Preheat the oven to 200c and once warm add the temph in the oven for around 10 minutes. Once done, flip and cook for antoher 10 minutes or until done.
