Ingredients
- 300g flour (100%)
- 165ml of milk (55%)
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) apple cider vinegar (5%)
- 2.5 tbsp (35g) of baking powder (11%)
- 1 tsp (6g) of salt (2%)
- 1 tbsp (4g) of sugar (1.5)
- 112g butter (frozen 37%)
- 1 – 2 Tbsp Melted Vegan Butter (for brushing)

Prep ingredients
Hours before, freeze the butter as for this recipe it's crucial it stays cold (2-4 hours at least). Also combine the plant milk with a table spoon of vinegar, this will curdle the soy milk, but it'll take a while.
Making the dough
Grate the frozen butter. Then stir the grated butter into the dry mixture with a fork. Once done it should feel like a "sandy" texture.
Shaping the biscuits
Once chilled roll the dough out to a think sheet and take a glass or cookie cutter and cut our the shapes of your biscuits.
Baking the biscuits
Bake them in an oven at 450 F / 230 C for 15 minutes. Then pull them out, and brush them with some melted vegan butter. Add them back to the oven for 5 more minutes.
